Because I felt like putting gray fingerprints all over my desk. And I just watched the amazing short, Paperman, from Disney. I somehow missed Wreck-It-Ralph when it was in theaters, so I hadn’t seen this lovely piece of animation until now.

A little project from the weekend.
I should really be posting links to my sources for these images, but usually it’s me inking random sketches from when I perused flickr’s perpetually updating gallery. However, this one was easy to remember:
Been focusing a lot on figure drawing lately, which can be frustrating when drawing from photographs and all you can see are the differences between what you have on the paper versus what’s on the screen. I just need to remember that I’m a cartoonist and I can draw whatever the hell I want. Then it becomes fun again.
